Conference location
The conference and workshops will be held at ICAR-CNR in Palermo.
The CNR Research Area (http://www.area.pa.cnr.it/), located at Via Ugo La Malfa, 153, Palermo, is easily accessible from downtown by train.
You can check the timetable at https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html. The train departs from “Palermo Lolli” (the journey takes approximately 13 minutes) or “Palermo Centrale” (27 minutes). The stop you need is “Palermo La Malfa.”
From the airport, you can take the train from the “Palermo-Aeroporto” station, which also stops at “Palermo La Malfa”, and the journey takes approximately 35 minutes.
Transfers
Palermo airport offers national and international connections with the leading European destinations but is easily reachable from other destinations worldwide. A direct flight to and from New York (USA) will also be available from June this year.
From the Palermo Airport to the city centre
- Bus: At 30-minute intervals, the airport buses depart daily between 04:00 and 22:30.
- Train: The regional train from the airport to the Central Station leaves at 30-minute intervals between 05:15 and 00:25 daily.
- Car: Take the A29 motorway in the direction of Palermo.
- Taxi: Taxis are available at the International Arrivals.
